Welcome Dr. Sarah Shannahan!

We are excited to announce that Sarah Shannahan, M.D. has joined our team!

Dr. Sarah Shannahan comes to Greater Boston Gastroenterology, now in partnership with Gastro Health, after completing her fellowship in gastroenterology and hepatology at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, where she also trained in internal medicine and served as chief medical resident.

Trained in all major GI procedures, including capsule endoscopy and chromoendoscopy, Dr. Shannahan has a clinical interest in inflammatory bowel disease and treatment of inflammatory bowel disease in pregnancy. Dr. Shannahan is accepting new patients with a broad array of gastrointestinal conditions.
