Christianna Moran has over 10 years of experience as a registered dietitian with a primary focus and passion for treating patients with digestive and liver disease. After graduating from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst in 2005, she then completed her dietetic internship at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston and earned her Masters of Science in Nutrition from Framingham State University. Having worked in many different areas of nutritional support including hospital inpatient services, intensive care units and outpatient clinics at the Floating Hospital for Children/Tufts Medical Center and Reliant Medical Group, Christianna is well equipped to serve all of the dietary and nutritional needs of the patients at Greater Boston Gastroenterology.
Christianna also brings special expertise in caring for patients with gluten sensitivity as she was diagnosed with celiac disease at the age of three and has personal experience living a gluten free life. Whether guiding a patient with irritable bowel on the low Fodmap diet, helping a patient with Crohn’s disease optimize their dietary and nutritional needs, assisting patients with Hepatitis C maintain adequate liver health, or advising one of our weight-loss patients on calorie control and lifestyle modifications, Christianna enjoys working with her clients to create tailored, easy to follow, realistic nutrition plans.
